Q: STANDARD LIMITATIONS: A: Maximum full imprint area 14” x 16”
Maximum pocket imprint area 3” x 3.5”
Maximum short sleeve imprint area 3” x 3.5”
Maximum long sleeve imprint area 3” x 15”
Maximum of 14 ink colors per location
white ink must be used to underbase other light colors when printed on dark garments
white ink must be double printed on some dark garments in order to be opaque.
4 color process jobs are best suited for white garments
9 color simulated process is preferred choice for dark garments
Index (square dot) process is available
If ink colors are not specified (PMS) they will be converted to our stock palette
No lines thinner than 1 pt
No text smaller that 12 pt
Please supply the best art possible, this will ensure the best shirt possible
low quality originals will need to be recreated by our art department, this may add cost & will delay production

Q: ARTWORK CAN BE SUPPLIED IN THE FOLLOWING FORMATS: A: Hard Copy
8.5” x 11” output from high quality laser printer (preferred)
Letterhead & business cards are fine for small imprints but do not enlarge well
Do not send framed art or art under glass, we will not be able to scan it
Adobe Photoshop up to version 8.0/CS
Raster files created in other applications can be saved in .psd format
.jpg files can be used but are generally not of very high quality,
150 dpi original resolution at final size for images that are completely photographic (NO TEXT)
300 dpi original resolution at final size for images that have sharp lines and text (most projects)
72 dpi files (from internet) should be three times the physical size they are to be
printed (still not recommended)

Do not flatten layers
Include fonts for editable text layers
If design is to be printed on a colored garment, digital file should be on a colored
Background.
If you are mailing us a disk, please include a paper proof to verify all digital files
If you are emailing us the design, please include a low res jpeg for proofing
Adobe Illustrator up to version 11/CS
Vector files created in other applications should be saved in .ai .eps or .pdf format
Convert all fonts to outlines (curves) or include fonts
Include all placed or linked images (preferred) or embed images within file
Use pms spot colors or southland graphics stock inks. Please see our INKS & FONTS Section.
